Everest Challenge

On Tuesday 13th September the whole team of Ravat & Ray Dental Care of over 140 will be completing an Everest Challenge. Their aim is to climb, cycle, run or walk the vertical height of Mount Everest as a team in just one day to raise money for Cash for Kids. And whatever the team don’t manage complete, Mark Ray, Director, will push to complete the remaining climbing to ensure we reach the target of 29,029 feet.

Each year Mark takes on a mammoth cycle challenge and this year instead of distance we have chosen to do it vertically! For the past five years many Local, National and International charities have been helped with over £25,000 donated, but this year we wanted to focus on the children of our local towns and therefore chose Cash for Kids as our 2016 charity.

Cash for Kids responds to the needs of children within our local communities so they can live life to the full and realise their individual potential. Based across 21 areas of the UK and in those of our practices, they support children aged 0-18 who are have additional needs, are disadvantaged or suffering from abuse or neglect.

Please help support us and donate as little or as much as you can. This year’s target has been set at £10,000 and the teams are aiming to beat it!
