Ravat & Ray Dental Care, Bradford is located close to Bradford City Centre, situated just off Manningham Lane.
The Practice has been converted from office premises to a state-of-the-art five surgery dental practice and is able to offer all NHS treatments and a comprehensive range of private treatments such as Tooth Whitening, Minor Orthodontics such as Invisible Braces, Smile Design and White Fillings.
All five surgeries are fully computerised with digital x-rays and we are fully compliant with the Department of Health standards by operating two separate decontamination rooms for sterilisation of instruments. The practice boasts excellent access facilities with a ramp and electronically operated doors. On-site parking is also available at the front of the building.

Faye Ryan BSc (Hons) (Senior Practice Manager)
Faye joined the practice in March 2016. She studied at Leeds Beckett University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Leadership and Management and also gained a Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Business Management. She has previously worked within the hospitality industry for over 4 years. Since joining the practice Faye was promoted to the Practice Manager in April 2017.

Grace joined the practice in 2016. She qualified from University of Malaya in 1998. She spent two years in general practice in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia before moving to the United Kingdom in 2001. She then worked in community dentistry for 14 years, gaining experience in urgent and routine primary care, basic conscious sedation, paediatric dentistry and adult special needs. Grace left community dentistry in 2015 to work in general practice.

Adeline joined the practice in October 2011. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2010 and then went on to complete the UCLan’s Certificate in Oral Health and Fluoride Varnish Application qualification in 2012, this enables her to give oral health advice and apply fluoride to teeth.
Adeline holds her own clinics giving free oral health advice, diet advice & applying fluoride varnish to help protect teeth. She also goes out into the local community to provide free oral health advice, as part of the outreach work that the practice provides to local nursery’s, schools & various other community groups.
Since joining Ravat & Ray Dental Care, Adeline has proven herself to be a true asset to the team and was promoted to Senior Dental Nurse in May 2015. As Senior Dental Nurse, she supports the Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the practice.

Laura joined the practice in May 2013 as an Apprentice Dental Nurse and studied the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, qualifying as a Dental Nurse in October 2014.
Alongside dental nursing duties, Laura is the Infection Control & Decontamination Lead which involves dealing with prevention and monitoring of infection within the practice.

Mehwish joined the practice in May 2013 as an Apprentice Dental Nurse and studied the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, qualifying as a Dental Nurse in April 2016.

Bradford is served well by motorways and main roads. Bradford’s own motorway, the M606, brings you within 1.5 miles of the city centre and links with the M1, A1 and M6 via the M62.
If you are travelling from the south, east or west of Bradford, you will find it most convenient to use the M62 and the M606. If you are arriving from the north-west you will use the A629/A650 via Skipton and Keighley. From the north-east it is most convenient to use the A1 or A19, and reach Bradford via the A59 and then the A658 south of Harrogate.
Travelling from all directions into the centre of Bradford follow signs for Bradford City Football Ground/Valley Parade. We are located on Bateman Street which is off Thorncliffe Road in Manningham. Access to Thorncliffe Road can be reached from Midland Road or Manningham Lane.

Air Flow Therapy is a hygiene cleaning treatment that uses a mixture of air, jet water and sodium bicarbonate to polish and clean your teeth. The treatment is not a chemical treatment and therefore, there will be no risk to the patients for any irritation or chemical burns. Air Flow Therapy is an advanced version of a scaling and polish treatment, but the patient will walk away the same day with amazing, clean results. Air Flow Therapy appointments generally last between 30 and 45 minutes. This treatment can be carried out by the Dentist or via Direct Access by the Hygienist/Therapist. How does direct access work?
Our Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists are permitted to treat patients without a prior examination by a dentist. This means that we can now welcome patients who only want to see our Dental Hygienist without having to register with the Dentists and have an examination beforehand. If our Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist feels that you would benefit from a dental examination by a dentist, you will be advised of this.
