The treatment is not a chemical treatment and therefore, there will be no risk to the patients for any irritation or chemical burns. Air Flow Therapy is an advanced version of a scaling and polish treatment, but the patient will walk away the same day with amazing, clean results. Air Flow Therapy appointments generally last between 30 and 45 minutes. This treatment can be carried out by the Dentist or via Direct Access by the Hygienist/Therapist. For more information on Air Flow Therapy please visit the Hygiene Services page

Dental implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth. They are designed to replicate the root of a tooth supporting a crown, bridge or even a special custom-made denture. If you have a gap in your smile, dental implants could be the dental treatment you need. They are an excellent long-term option for restoring your smile. For more information about dental implants, please visit the Implants page.
Dental Implants may be provided at an alternative Ravat & Ray Dental Care practice following a referral process.
If you have lost either all or some of your teeth and need effective replacement with either full or partial dentures, we can provide you with superior quality dentures that look as natural as possible. There is never any compromise; accurate measurements are taken to ensure a superior fit and level of comfort. For more information on cosmetic dentures check out the Cosmetic Dentures page.
Cosmetic Orthodontic Treatment
Cosmetic orthodontic treatment will straighten your teeth or move them into a better position. This can not only improve the appearance or your teeth but also the way your teeth bite together, while also making them easier to clean. For more information on the range of cosmetic orthodontic treatments we have to offer in our Bolton One please visit the Fast Braces page.
A crown is a restoration that fits over the remaining part of you tooth making it resilient and giving it the look of a real tooth. Crowns can be used to restore teeth that have been broken or that have been weakened by decay. For more information about private dental crowns visit the Crowns page.
Bridges are ideal for people who only have one or two teeth missing and don’t want a denture. There a number of options available from all-ceramic or all-porcelain to metal, porcelain fused to metal bridges and resin bonded. For more information about private dental bridges visit the Bridges page.
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or composite material placed over a tooth, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth or to protect the tooth’s surface from damage. For more information about private dental veneers visit the Veneers page.
A composite filling (white filling) is a tooth-coloured mixture used to restore decayed or broken teeth. By using enamel and dentin bonding techniques, white fillings restore your teeth. White fillings are used as an alternative to amalgam (silver) fillings, which are not as aesthetically pleasing. For more information about private white fillings visit the White Fillings page.

You can book appointments with our Dental Hygienist without the need to see the dentist first. Treatments include:-
• Scale & Polish
• Air Polishing & Stain Removal
• Treatment of Gum Disease
How does direct access work?
Our Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists are permitted to treat patients without a prior examination by a dentist. This means that we can now welcome patients who only want to see our Dental Hygienist without having to register with the Dentists and have an examination beforehand. If our Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist feels that you would benefit from a dental examination by a dentist, you will be advised of this.
If you would like to book an appointment directly, or would like to ask any questions or queries regarding direct access, please get in touch with the practice for more information.
