Michael Platten BChD Leeds 2014
GDC Registration Number: 252323
Michael graduated from Leeds University with a BChD in dental surgery in 2014. A friend and former pupil to David Read he joined the small family practice at Reads in December of 2015, tending to some of Mr Reads patients during his period of illness. Michael has been part of the Ravat and Ray group since graduating from University and continues to work one and a half days a week at our sister practice, Highfield.
With his Irish twang, Michael has settled in well at the practice, and Farnworth and Manchester are now home from home for him. He grew up in a small town 20 miles north of Belfast, called Larne in N.Ireland. He often travels home to spend some quality time with his family and loves to get back to see his nephew Alby, who is only two. Whilst at University, Michael always played a key role with his fellow colleagues, being elected into the role of Vice President which was followed by President of the Leeds Dental Society. This let him make many contacts within the field of dentistry and through this he has made many good friends who he regularly sees.
