What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are a collagen material made of synthetic or natural substances. The material is used to help correct skin conditions which develop as a result of ageing such as creases, folds and wrinkles.

How do they work?

Dermal fillers have a ‘plumping’ effect when injected into the skin. Put simply dermal fillers will plump-up the area which has received the injection, levelling it with other parts of the skin. Duration and Recovery

No recovery time is required after dermal filler treatments and you can return to day to day activities straight away. You may experience some slight swelling or bruising to the area being injected and typically doesn’t last longer than 48 hours.
